What stories do we carry in the marrow of our souls, perhaps too deeply hidden for us either to see clearly or to dislodge? What would happen if there was a library where careful listeners could bring those stories out of us so that we might see them and let them go? What if we could actually take on the stories of the people whom we’ve only seen as bit players in our own tales?
Those are some of the questions explored in my story “Bone Stories” which just came out in the current issue of the Canadian speculative magazine On Spec. For single-issue orders or subscriptions, click here.
